Spring rains spill over every year
From clouds of love, or so I hear;
A time when each animal leaves its bed
To take in all the sky has shed.
The lakes they fill and rivers climb;
The ponds and streams will flood in time;
Inevitably, the world will drown
And still the rains fall freely down.
All the creatures quench their thirst;
A love-starved winter feels the worst.
The blood in our veins is violated
As our sanity is efficiently annihilated.
And still nobody ceases to drink;
This inebriation is addicting, I think.
This monsoon era will kill us all,
An endless Summer awaiting the Fall.
